“Still Love It!”

Was great to be back to do "move out" for our daughter! This little hotel is a great retreat. We chose a king suite again which gave us ample space for three. “A great hotel in a beautiful setting.”

This is hotel has been renovated beautifully. The rooms are large, clean and bright. I had a creak side room and what a lovely view. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was very good and the dining room delightful. Overall amazing value.

“Needs updating”

We stayed here based on the tripadvisor ratings, very disappointed. The room was nice. The bathroom was clean, but needed to have the tub replaced as the finish is flaking off. Definitely not a "+" experience. Also there is this weird half wall in the shower/toilet area that makes the room much smaller. The "bath" towels were nothing but glorified... More

We loved this hotel -- it is not on the main drag (Route 9) in Poughkeepsie, which was fine with us! It was VERY clean, quiet, nice staff, great breakfast. “Doesn't match my idea of a "Plus"”

Clean, but nothing special for the price and the "Plus." My daughter and I were looking at colleges and the location is great for Vassar. Room had a overly air-freshner smell, which I am sensitive to. I would recommend facing the back not over the parking lot.

We checked in for a two night stay on Friday. We were given the keys to our room, walked in and within 3 minutes started hearing the chirping of the smoke detector. It was 9:30 PM, and the only person on duty in the hotel was the front desk clerk, who rummaged through the desk but couldn't locate any spare... More

I am sorry the incident was not handled better by our staff. I can assure you that all TVs in every room are not on the headboard wall of the room next door. I do apologize for the rudeness of the person next door and the staff. Thank you for your comments. More
