My 40th High School Reunion was made even more wonderful by staying with Carol!!! I'm so glad I made reservations before my classmates did. I've been staying at the Van Voast House since 2006 for trips to the Albany/Schenectady area. Wonderful hostess and every time it is like coming home. Great breakfasts too! You'll enjoy the garden and back porch breakfasts or just swinging on the swing. More

Stayed here for two nights. Landlady was very friendly and chatty. Room was good although not having an ensuite bathroom was a minor pain. We did have our own private bathroom across the hall and a bathrobe was provided. Breakfast was good. We were asked if we had any food dislikes which was very considerate. Beautiful craftsman style home, yummy breakfast, accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly host. Homey feel. We had something called "Dutch Babies" for breakfast - a baked pancake with fruit and syrup - outstanding. Great value. More
