While the hotel is as nice you as can expect from a Doubletree, the front desk is not very helpful at all. I stayed through Priceline.com which everyone knows is the red-headed stepchild of hotels (why do they participate then?!), but nonetheless when I asked for a room change, they denied me because they're "sold out" that night. I'm a... More

It's a Doubletree, so gotta love the cookies! My daughter, could not eat them, but she was surprised to find gluten-free pancakes in the morning! A hotel first for us. I traveled as a single parent with two school aged children for a family event with many relatives. The pool was indoors and a treat for the kids. The lobby... More

Stayed for a conference and was impressed by outdoor space, pool, comfortable lobby and generous sized rooms. Better than your average conference hotel for an average price. Loved the leather love seat in my room, and operable windows for fresh air. Spent time there doing work on my laptop (with wireless at a few dollars a night), and watching tv. More

This was the Tarrytown Hilton for about 50 years. The public areas, lobby etc. have been completely redone and are quite attractive. The rooms have been reasonably renovated but the layout with sprawling two-story building remains unchanged. The good part is that some of the rooms have access directly to the large lawns outside. There are broad grass areas for kids... More

We stayed at The Tarrytown Doubletree this past summer and had a good experience, but we stayed there last weekend and had an excellent one. The hotel was well kept and clean, but the service, food, and pool and outdoor areas pushed them into the next category. Just like last time, the staff was very attentive and friendly (even making... This hotel has a nice lobby which was somewhat deceptive. The rooms were outdated, albeit adequate. Although the sheets and pillowcases were very nice, the rest of the fabric in the room was old. The bathroom inadequate counter space, a toilet base that sticks out to far (very conducive to stubbing one's toe) and not apparent place to hang your towels... More

Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback on your recent stay. We value your feedback and would like to hear more about your perception that our rooms are outdated. Although the hotel was built in 1960, the hotel was closed in 2005 until December 2007 for renovations. The furniture is less than 5 years old. The bedding,... More

We stayed here last weekend while our carpets were being cleaned. We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Good clean rooms, reasonably priced at a great location. Being Hilton Gold we got the free breakfast which was great. The best part of our stay was the great water pressure in the shower. More

This is a completely average business hotel. It is now a DoubleTree, but it was built as Hilton in 1960. So if you do the math.....it's 52 years old, and it shows. To be fair to the hotel, they have updated it. The lobby is grand and open and very warm and welcoming, and the rooms have nice beds, comfortable... More

Stayed here one night after seeing a concert at the Tarrytown Music Hall. Hotel Lobby was lovely, room was a good size with an extremely comfortable bed and a couch seating area. The hotel bar was small, about 8 seats, and stayed open until midnight on a Sunday (the bartender BTW was great). The price was right and we would... More
