Me and my boyfriend have spent a wonderful week in Akassia. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful, well maintained garden, full of flower and trees. The weather was excellent ( hot but a bit windy during the day, about 22C at night) All together with LTI + Aqua park part, there are about 10 big pools, every day we’ve discovered... More

We are an English family of six. 3 teenagers and 1 six year old. We have just come back from a week in Akassia Swiss Resort and loved it! The kids were never once bored. They never had to queue for slides. The staff were always so helpful and would often run halfway down steps to help with inflatable. My... More

We have been travelling extensively as a family and also for some years lived as expats with extensive travelling as part of our normal life. The food at the hotel was the most awful, discusting pig food that we ever experienced. You coujld not eat the food, at best, it did not taste anything. The chefs could simly not make... More

As a first foreign holiday with 2 young children,i would recommend this hotel complex, the staff were great,we went september 2011 for 2 weeks,we all loved it.Although the food was a bit repetative night after night,we were hardly eating anything after about 10 days, the transfer to the hotel was a complete nightmare,it took 3 hours 10 mins from hurghada airport so... just returned from a week at the Akassia (end Jan 2012) great hotel; very friendly, helpful, polite staff. Good accomadation, very clean. Food excellent. Snorkelling off the jetty amazing, only had red flag twice during weeek, when the hotel provided free transport to nearby beech for snorkelling. Not all pools heated but there are so many! Adjacent aqua park very... More

we have been in Akassia Swiss Resort for the New 2012 Year and first week of January. May be it sounds strange, but on my opinion, the best thing in this place is the meals, because the quality and menu been on the good level. About the other characteristics I can tell just "disappointment". Nothing "Swiss" on this resort… Room... More

Rooms were big and clean, food was amazing with a large and varied choice, fresh bread every morning, staff were friendly and would do anything for you. Snorkelling brilliant, pools were good just quite cold, the location is quite isolated so there's not much do apart from what is going on in the hotel, entertainment was brilliant but nightclub was... Good hotel, pleasant and friendly staff, good food, brilliant water park. Plenty of swimming pools although late Oct early Nov some of the pools were a bit cold 9it wasn’t as warm as I expected although that of course is not the hotels fault. Pesky, persistent flies – again not the hotel’s fault. Nice food and drinks – although a... More

Ok i have been on vacation before and used this site to get a view of what it was like but chose not to write a review but the comments that some 'tourists' have written about Akassia rather amuse me so here goes !! 1) - Visas - You HAVE to pay to get in to Hurghada, it is cheaper... More

We have just spend an amazing week at the Akassia. +: big nice rooms, very clean hotel, friendly and helpful staff, amazing aquapark, good food, beautiful reef, serious diving center. -: architecture is a bit over the top (castle of sleeping beauty?), about 8 different pools, lots of flowers, bushes and green grass (where does all the water come from...
