Very close to airport, less than 5 mins drive. Handy as this was the pick up point for Intrepid Tours. Rooms are very small, door to shower wouldn't open. Free wifi for 1st 15 mins. It was ok in all dimensions except poor value at R710/night (plus R52 each way for airport shuttle), and the heating in the room didn't work (and morning temp outside was -2 degrees!) Thicker walls than the sister, cheaper Road Lodge so at least i could sleep, but only to wake up as an icycle in the morning! More

Stayed at the Town Lodge for years and very happy with everything. This time the airconditioners in the room do not work. They trip after 5 to 45 minutes and then have to be manually reset. There is no other ventilation in the rooms and they then become very stuffy. I was moved to a second room, but no different.... More
