Selous River Camp is a nice, very well-run place. We just spent three nights there, camping in a tent provided by our safari company, but eating meals provided by the camp and using their guides for some trips. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Selous River Camp in September 2011. Great local produce food, friendly and helpful staff, close to the beautiful Selous Park and well organised game drives combined with excellent weather. Extremely comfortable mud huts overlooking the river. Not a huge amount of wild life but hippos , birds and monkeys abundant. An evening boat trip is a must for wildlife, scenery and sunset.
