Only just down the street from boarding point for Dar ferry. Main tourist part of Stone Town is about a 10 minute walk away. Very friendly staff and free tea and coffee making facilities in hall is a nice touch. Wireless internet also available in bedrooms.

Only one night as I did seven at sister hotel Princess Salme. Nice, big room, A/C, clean, etc. Can be noisy, but that's typical of the whole island. Generator comes in handy during frequent power outages on the island.

Finding the hotel was easy. Turn left at the harbour entrance to the town and follow the road right around the circle. Tucked away in an alley, just 100 meters from the circle, on the right hand side of the road. We were shown courtesy and friendliness from when we arrived.
