A good (but not great) hotel, the Serena Hotel in Stone Town has delightful and attractive public spaces. However, the food is only OK and the rooms are a bit small. we were only able to stay here two nights before heading home. great place to watch the african sunset. location was easy to get to and within walking distance to a number of local stops. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in stone town.
