Since we first discover La Maison des Consuls we have stayed here each spring. It's a wonderful, antiquated and mysterious building ideally situated in the centre of the town as part of the Couverts. Rooms spotless clean, beautifully furnished and with excellent views over the square. Love the traditional French breakfasts. Altogether a great experience each time we have stayed. More

This is a great little hotel, with friendly staff and a real sense of place and time. It has creaky floors, less than perfect plumbing, but great french breakfast, atmosphere and a fantastic location in the central square at Mirepoix. More

hotel of great character with very very pleasant and helpful staff. we visited 1st October 2004 - three night stay. very pretty town and setting of hotel on what must be one of the prettiest medieval town squares in France. the hotel used to be a gaol in the 14th century but thankfully cells are no longer evident! More
