Took trip advisor advice and booked in as we wanted to explore Gascony. What a find! Christine is a most gracious host and full of ideas on area. St Clar is a perfectly unspoiled village from which it is easy to explore true Gascony and the Armagnac region. The rooms are large and perfectly well maintained. We arrived tired and... More

Le Tournesol was a lovely place to stay as a base for our exploration of southwest France. It is located in St. Clar in the Gers region which is amazingly beautiful. Our room was very clean and well appointed with a great bathroom. Christine and David were very helpful and our breakfasts were perfect. We had an excellent dinner on... More

We stayed overnight at Le Tournesol and have to say it is probably the best B&B we have ever stayed in. The rooms were fantastic, well appointed and so comfortable. The added touches for small children (baby bath and step for using the loo and sink) we have never come across in a B&B before, and, we felt, typifies the... More

We experienced Le Tournesol to be a high quality B&B, with Christine and David as excellent hosts. The nicely renovated building situated right in the centre of St. Clar, a very French village, offers light and pleasant rooms. Well furneshed and with oustanding queensize beds. A nice breakfast is served while dinner cooked by Christine is a treat in itself.... More

Beautiful countryside brings you to this guest house in the center of the village, serving wonderful food, great company & lovely accommodation. Pity our return flights were booked. Wish we had longer to explore the surrounding towns & villages & want to go back again to experience the fetes & fields of sunflowers. More

I've just been down to Le Tournesol in St Clar again, this time to play golf with friends. The better courses are nearer to Toulouse but the travel through the countryside isn't a chore. We ate at Tournesol, breakfast and Evening meal, it was SUPERB. Traditional French food beautifully prepared by our host Chrissie and served with local red wine.... More

Simply perfect. The rooms are completely updated, with every creature comfort of home. The entire Inn is extremely clean and charming! The bathrooms are the best we stayed in most of Europe. The inn owners are most friendly, helpful and prepared the best meals we had in ages. They helped us find points of interest and were the most hospitable... More

Beautifully renovated village house over looking the church square, lovelly position within the village & extremely convenient to other places of interest, lakes, walks, restaurants etc. A truely charming location. Very welcoming! Nothing is too much trouble. Golf courses close to house - just ask for direstions. More
