My husband and I stayed here while we were participating in the Chocolate and Wine Weekend. We stayed in the Green room which was spacious. The bathroom was gorgeous and felt spa-like with the stonework. The walk-in shower was large and had a waterfall feature. Frank and Donna were extremely knowledgeable about the area and were able to tell us... More

My boyfriend surprised me by taking me to Watkins Glen, NY. The little town was so cute! We stopped at a restaurant called Wildflower for lunch before he surprised me with this amazing B&B. We drove up to a beautiful home that was right on the water. It was so perfect. Frank & Donna both greeted us so kindly and... More

We love it when a surprise works out. We have enjoyed sharing our home for the last ten years with some wonderful people! We continue to learn from our guests, and strive to maintain the level of service we have traditionally provided. Remember, if there is anything you think we should have, or be doing, let us know. We will... More

We felt welcome from the moment we came in, receiving pleasant introductions and a helpful tour of the house and available spaces. The house has a very warm feel, with lots of hardwood and inviting layout (high ceilings, cozy library, beautiful bay window looking out onto Seneca Lake). Hosts have prior service in the military, which contributed to their quality... More

Our first trip to the Finger Lakes was made very special by our stay at Sunset on Seneca Lake. The location , the view of the lake, the amazing breakfasts, the hot tub overlooking the lake, the charm of the house were amazing. The owners, Donna and Frank were fabulous; they were helpful with information, worked well as a team... More

They even shared a dessert of Grape pie with us and the other two guest rooms on Saturday night. You are right on the lake when you... More

My husband and I just spent the weekend with another couple visiting many wineries on Keuka and Seneca Lakes. We have made this trip for many years. This is our first time staying at Sunset on Seneca, but it won't be our last! Frank and Donna were wonderful, making sure that we had everything we needed. They offered great suggestions... More

We have a sign over our front door. "Enter as strangers, leave as friends." We try very hard to live up to it. It's always a good feeling when all the hard work pays off. Thanks a million! More

This was not your standard B & B. Very quickly you become like family with Frank and Donna, the hosts. Apart from the private rooms, there is a very large open living room where guests can relax, hang around with the B & B's resident cats, and of course the hosts. Despite the proximity, Frank and Donna do not hover,... More

My husband and I stayed at Sunset the night after our wedding, as we made our way back east from Chautauqua to Boston. We were tuckered out and mentally exhausted, and Frank and Donna took very good care of us. They were so sweet and thoughtful in recommending a romantic spot for us to find a quiet but celebratory dinner... More

Frank & Donna really know how to gauge guests' needs. They don't hover but anticipate needs quickly and effortlessly. We had two rooms that were comfortable, clean, and had all modern amenities including adjustable firmness beds. Breakfast was wonderful and the excellent coffee doesn't stop. The view was exceptional, and Watkins Glen and the wineries were stones throws away. When... More
