The reception is friendly and helpful, the room (5th floor) was superb, spacious and clean, still with a marvelous view to the south (right in front, however, there is a large high-rise under construction). Parking and internet is free, the gym as well. Only, I had a bad luck with the dinner in the restaurant "Avec" - the chorizo beef... More

We arrived in Cuiaba just before Easter. We had two rooms as we are a family of 6. The hotel was everything we had hoped. The breakfast was amazing!! The rooms were quite large. the showers had great water pressure. The rooms and the Hotel was very clean. Located right across from a very large grocery store which also is... More

After spending a few terribly exciting yet exhausting days exploring the Pantanal, anything with aircon and no mosquitoes would have been fine, but this place was just divine. We'd already discovered Brazilians don't do anything by halves, so when they say this is a luxury hotel, they really mean it. We checked-in an had lunch in their restaurant which was... More

OK, I haven't stayed at every hotel in Cuiaba, but I did stay at this on twice in October 2012. I actually changed from another location to get this hotel. The English spoken by the desk staff is excellent, and provided very helpful information in response to my questions. They were kind enough to fix me a special breakfast to... More

We ended up at the Gran Odara Hotel after a confusing start to our trip to Cuiaba. We were to drive on to another town but due to darkness and unknown roads we stayed the night in Cuiaba. The first night we ended up in a hostel, it was clean, but with no hot water we knew we were too... More

The Deville has now been usurped as the best hotel in Cuiaba. The Odara is better. Let's remember that the Deville has plenty going for it. However on balance the Odara wins. The big main plus point for the Odara is that the windows let in a lot less noise than the Deville. The Deville is on a busy road... More
