We normally go over for New Years and it is an amazing, relaxing break away from normality. The rooms are cosy with the most comfy beds, everything you need is provided - tea, coffee, milk, biscuits. However, you don't spend much time in the room as there is so much to see and do on Tresco such as the beautiful... More

Last April, my partner and I enjoyed a 3 night break on Tresco, Isles of Scilly. We stayed at the New Inn. The room was delightful, ground floor with its own garden, overlooking the pool and the main harbour. Peaceful and tranquil with lovely food, it was a lovely base from which to enjoy the delights of the Island. The... More

I have stayed at the New Inn, Tresco several times (once on our honeymoon) and I'm amazed I've never written a review at is a very special place! The pub has lovely guest rooms with the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. Many look over the quay to the island of Bryher. A stay here will be so relaxing... More

There is only one pub on Tresco . Average quality food but must be the most expensive pubs in the UK. Crab sandwich cost £12-50p! More

This is a fantastic place to stay - really friendly people and fantastic food (rather better than the much more expensive Island Hotel!). A great place to switch off, walk or cycle lots and enjoy some genuine peace and quiet. We loved it. But, be warned - flying SkyBus from the mainland is a complete disaster - avoid it! The... More

I booked The New Inn online and chose Tresco because they can provide a golf buggy to get around and my husband is disabled. Our room, with a sea view, was beautiful. Light, airy and the view was perfect. The food was expensive but the quality improved once the regular chef was back on duty. Service was very good with... More

The 2 day trip to Tresco was a birthday present. The New Inn, the only pub on Tresco, is ideally situated by the sea & near the wonderful Abbey Gardens. We had paid a supplement for a room with a sea view. While the room was very nice, if not large, the en suite bathroom was in need of an... More

The New Inn is a cosy pub on the beautiful island of Tresco. The rooms are clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Great menu and breakfast is fantastic. Food's a bit pricey if you compare it to places on the mainland, but it's the only pub on a private island so kind of to be expected. Staff were all very friendly,... More

We have just come back from a 4 day long weekend at the New Inn on Tresco. Our bedroom was excellent – a lovely clean and bright double with views overlooking the sea. The quay was only a few minutes walk away too, which made for just a short morning stroll to catch the daily boat trips to the other... More
