We stayed at Cape Lodge for 2 nights at the Superior Spa Suites - no complaints whatsoever. Service was excellent, food was fantastic. If you are looking for a place to get away from it all, this is the place to go. Once you set foot on the lush, beautifully maintained grounds, all your worries get left behind. The rooms... More

The location of Cape Lodge certainly did not disappoint, the grounds are beautiful. However, I felt that our room did not quite meet our expectations. It was rather dark as the window looking out onto the grounds was completely covered in shrubs and plants and therefore blocked out the light and view. The restaurant was somewhat dreary and lacking in... More

If you need to unwind and relax, this is the place to go. A peaceful, tranquil setting combined with perfect service and delicious food, one could not wish for more. The estate consists of the main building which houses the reception, a reading room where you can have coffee/tea and fresh muffins and one lodge room and one lodge suite.... More

A great place to base yourself for touring the region. The room was luxurious and the grounds relaxing. Mobile Phone access was terrible (probably deliberately)so the stay was also very peaceful. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was great. We chose the tasting accompanied by the wines. Here is the beware .... it might be best to... More

We were recommended this hotel by a friend so decided to trust their judgement. It looked very nice in the photo and I was looking forward to our stay but for the extortionate price I had hoped for better. Our room, which was changed because our booking was mixed up, had a nice view over the lake and was ok... More

Great spot ! Stayed 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The spa room was spacious and well appointed, staff were unobtrusive yet eager to assist in any way and the restaurant was superb...will be going back! Only one criticism...wifi and mobile connectivity was poor :(

Our much needed return visit to Cape Lodge did not disappoint us, we spent 4 wonderful days and nights indulging in peace, relaxation, exquisite food and unobtrusive yet attentive service. We had to delay our visit due to illness and we were touched by the efforts the fantastic team made to accommodate our changes at a moments notice, clearly nothing... More

Nice room in wonderful grounds. Stay a few days (unlike me) to make the most of it. Restaurant is great , nice grounds to get some excercise. Our room was only a good motel room , very bright in the morning and could clearly hear the neighbours in the shower. It was one of the (not cheap) cheapest rooms so... More
