We stayed here for our visit to the Lake Placid Ironman. The man at front desk was super helpful and very nice. I believe he was the owner. We have been coming to the "Grandview" for over 15 yrs....The title speaks volumes "Grandview". Most friendly, immaculate, and the perfect place to be. We stayed for 2 nights in late August. What a great motel. The kids loved the HUGE pool. The furniture looked brand new, flat panel TV & very clean. If you come to the Wilmington/Lake Placid region, stay here. Highly recommend!

This motel is located in a quiet area. All the site & room are very clean & well maintain. There is also a big pool where you can relax after a day in the area! We stayed in two rooms at the Grand View Motel, and the motel was an excellent value for the money. The rooms are very clean, quiet, and the proximity of Lake Placid, Whiteface Mountain, and other tourist spots make this motel an excellent choice for the traveler that does not need 4 star accomadations.
