On our way home from Florida, we stayed here for two nights while visiting daughter. The motel was an older facility, but clean and comfortable. The decor was becoming outdated and at some point needs to get a face lift. The value was good. The breakfast was good not outstanding. The location was ideal. We would stay again. More

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff was congenial, the facility was clean and comfortable, the price was within a normal range, the breakfast bar was good, we had a microwave, refrigerator, TV and coffee pot in the room and the beds were comfortable. Bear in mind, there are not many lodging options for this small scenic Blue Ridge town near Asheville. This is a motel in the "classic" 70s style - 2 floors, outside entrances. My wife and I only stayed one night, but we would definitely come back again. The room was large and very clean. The breakfast was good and offered lots of choices. It was convenient for Black Mountain or Asheville (only 15 miles away). More

Stayed here for two nights. Clean room with fridge, microwave and comfy beds. Loved the breakfast (no extra charge) which included fresh fruit, cereal, Danish, muffins, make-your-own waffles, bagels, juices, milk and good coffee. (Nice condiments: REAL cream, and REAL butter.) This motel was a very nice place to stay while traveling through the area. It was very clean and had been recently renovated. The front desk staff, Kathy, was very helpful as to places to eat. We enjoyed our overnight stay. More

This is an older hotel (with doors to the outsided), however, it has been recently remodeled and the decor was much nicer than the price. The room and building were cleaner than almost anywhere we have stayed. Staff was friendly, price reasonable, small but nice pool. Rooms had 2 queen beds and lots of pillows. Good value. More

Our large family stayed here for my nephew's wedding in Lake Eden. The rooms were clean, the staff was helpful and courteous and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Chris, the manager, was WONDERFUL. He was so helpful in getting heat in July for my 83 year old dad! I would definitely recommend this hotel. Thanks for a great stay! More

Chairs were stained. Bed Spread was stained. Shower head broken. Room was "non-Smoking" yet it reeked of smoke. Front Desk Staff was rude. Nicest staff was the cleaning ladies. Over priced for quality. Have stayed a few times for camp dropoff, each time the rooms are progressively dirtier, and the price goes up each year. Will stay in Asheville next... More
