This hotel has everything you need when traveling with a family. Large rooms, comfortable beds, best "free" breakfast I've ever eaten! There is plenty of open green space for kids to run. Great time for families....we have 4 teenagers and they love this place...lots to do, close to Blowing Rock restuarants and shops. The pool and recreation areas were nice but the hotel is in serious need of renovation. There was only one restaurant open for breakfast when I was there (off season) so we had to find places to eat in tiny Blowing Rock. The property is nice . . .
