I've stayed at the Pageant Inn about a half-dozen times now, and will be headed back again this Spring. The management is very motorcyclist-friendly, and the location is a perfect jumping-off spot for all of the great riding in the area. Accommodations aren't fancy, but entirely adequate for my needs with plenty of food and gas-up options close by.

Great prices, nice clean rooms, good location and views right from front door.
Staff is very friendly and owner plays a mean gitar (ask him in the evening, I'm sure he would be happy to pull a few strings)
Would comeback again and will tell my motorcycle friends!

This hotel is very old and in desperate need of repair. We were forced to spend one night here while waiting for our cabin’s septic tank to be emptied. This motel does not offer a microwave, only a coffee pot and a tiny ice box. There is not a pool or creek, only a parking lot leading to the busy...

This place is cute on the outside and dumpy inside. They really really need new carpet, lenolium, new paint... the works. However we really wanted to go the the Smokys and couldn't afford to pay upwards of $200 + for other places ( it was high season). So we knew this place would be shady but were willing to use...

This is truly a run down, old building. Terribly overpriced for this old place. Of all the places, I've stayed, in practically every state-this was the worst. The pictures must be at least 10 years old. The prices I found on the website were wrong. The tub was stopped up, the lighting was dim, plug ins scarce. Duct tape holding...

Just checked out on the 29th of Sept..........The owner and managers are very accommodating. Stayed there for 3 nights last year and this year stayed for 6, very convenient to restaurants and the river. I live in Florida and had family and friends drive up from SC to meet for fishing and dinner, it's easy to find and I'm looking...

I met up with some far flung friends at the Pageant Hills for quiet weekend of relaxing and catching up. I had stayed there previously and was well satisfied, so it was no surprise to have the same experience this time.
The convenient location and friendly staff made it even more enjoyable and I'm already planning a return trip in...

Forget the ugly reviews, this place is in walking distance to the outdoor theater (when in season), museum, the river, shops, eating places, and looks out upon the mountains of North Carolina. If you just want a place to sleep at night, to rest, to shower and stuff, this place offers the basic necessities without the ostentatious and unnecessary bric-a-brac...
