I stayed from Sunday to Tuesday at the Holiday Inn Express in Dillsboro. I was very satisfied with my stay and the staff. I traveled here for business. It is beautiful and scenic around here. Harrah's Casino in Cherokee is only 15 minutes. My room was very clean, the bathroom was well taken care of. The breakfast was great. Love... More

Needed this location as a last minute stay for a funeral in the area. would not stay here again but for $80 this bare bones location was just OK. The OK - connecting room, microwave and small fridge. Bed was fine. Front desk attendant was nice and we had a view of the mountains. The BAD - wouldn't walk around... More

My daughter is a student at Western Carolina University, and my husband and I ALWAYS stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Dillsboro. It is a little out of the way from WCU, but there are VERY few hotels in this area and when we did stay one time at the River Escape, it was nice, but they charged us... More

My room was large with a jacuzi tub, microwave and wet bar. Not one problem or complaint with the room, it's cleanliness, ammenities, noise or decor. Everything was perfectly nice. I was told the pool was closed, but should be repaired by later that evening. It was repaired and open when I returned from dinner. More

This is a relatively new hotel with very helpful staff. We received an upgrade room, so it had a sleeper sofa along with 2 queen beds. The room was well kept and quite comfortable. The hotel was very quiet, and we had a great night's sleep. Will definitely stay here again! More

called & spoke w/ front desk person about room before making reservation. they assured me that my room would have a wonderful view of the mountains. we had a "no smoking" room. the room stunk, there were cigarette burn marks on the tub, the hall stunk of smoke, 80% of the view from our room was the hotel's canopy and... I was given a back corner room with two queen beds. First time I stayed in a corner room and man what a BIG room it was....the TV was great, AC was cold, however it did make a noise that woke me up a few times during the night. Very Quite!!!! If you are looking for rest, stay here... More

This is a great place to stay if you're looking for a pet friendly hotel. The rooms are well kept and clean. It was also very quiet. This hotel is close to many day excursions: the falls in Bryson City and Highlands, as well as the Great Smoky National Park and Gorges State Park. More

My wife and I flew from Atlantic City NJ to Atlanta to take a trip to the Smokey Mountains. We had never been there before. I looked for a decent hotel to stay in close to the park. We stayed there for three nights in late Oct. It was a three hour drive from Atlanta to the hotel. We arrived... More

Everything you would expect, but nothing exceptional. Well kept facility, nice clean room, friendly staff, good breakfast and easy access. Certainly, no compliants, but nothing particularly noteworthy either, except the large screen TV in the room which accounts for the plus. On the other hand, the hotel is located very close to "The Jarrett House", a historical inn and restaurant... More
