Had to spend a few day in Edenton NC. A very nice town. Have stayed at the Hampton before, also very nice. But thought I would try something different for about the same price. The rooms are comfortable and large and the location is within walking distance from downtown area's Breakfast on the balcony was a 3 course affair, first course was fruit with yogurt, and a warm cinnamon bun, second course was a plain omelet, bacon, and a savoury bun of some sort and third course (which we declined) cheesecake. We stayed in a pretty and quiet room on the third floor. The bathroom was very spacious and unusually shaped, and had a comfortable window seat. The full breakfast was excellent. The owner was helpful. Of course the town is a jewel.

The house is historic and lovely. The town of Edenton was interesting and charming. The house is well located, close to the downtown shops and restaurants. The interior of the house is welcoming as is the exterior wrap around porch. Breakfast was delicious.
