After a mix-up with my reservation, the general manager comped my stay one night, wrote me a note of apology, upgraded my remaining reservation, and left a bag of chocolates in my suite. The hotel is well-appointed, clean, and comfortable. The staff is friendly and competent. I highly recommend this hotel! I will use it on future trips!

This hotel is located somewhat outside of downtown and the main location of most restaurants and motels/hotels. The Fairfield Inn in Elizabeth City, NC, is always welcoming, clean, and friendly. The facility looks like it opened yesterday and has great landscaping and is extremely clean. The staff welcomes you with a smile and listens to your needs. There is manager's reception, usually on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

We really like the appearance of this hotel, and their breakfasts and afternoon snacks are vey good. The hotel also is clean. But, the air conditioner is extremely noisy and our sheets didn't fit the bed. Made for difficult sleeping.

Very clean, very good staff. My stays were more than 6 months apart and they remembered me. Also as soon as I checked in and they saw I was a Marriott member, they upgraded me to a suite at no additional charge. Great pool and exercise area.
