Historic inn is just steps away from downtown Hendersonville so we were able to walk to dinner, which was a delight. Our room and bathroom were larger than my studio NYC apartment from years ago. Free wi-fi was available although the password was so convoluted you'd think the inn was protecting national secrets. Breakfast was noting to write home about.

We've been visiting the Claddagh, annually, for years, and expect to continue. Their staff is always most hospitable, and it's only about a block down Main St. to the "center" of Hendersonville. My husband and Iwent several weeks ago. It was the most bizarre experience. We were told to pick out a table. We did. Checked the food. One table had only sweet pastries/breads.
