“Nags Head Trip”

The room was very clean and the staff very friendly. The room was musty smelling, but most old beach hotels are. The breakfast room could be organized better. When walking in to sit down, you ran into folks in the food line. It needs a better layout.

“Rainy Saturday night stay”

We needed a one-night accomodation at OBX. That is usually a standard hotel room. We were delighted with the 2-room suite, layout, water view, and all. The weather was rainy and cool so we didn't really get to enjoy any amenities of the hotel or beach area.

You got to stay in one of my favorite room types at the Mariner--the 2 bedroom suites. We appreciate your trekking down for the night and hope that next time you'll have more time to explore. This was a pleasant stay ecept for the inability to open the windows--it would nice to take advantage of the cool night air (in May) and the sound of the waves to fall asleep by.

We had a great stay. The staff were very helpful and gracious. Nice selections for breakfast and a great location. It was nice to be able to walk out the door and go right onto the beach.

The hotel is in great location right on beach. Hotel is a little run down but otherwise comfortable.Breakfast is included and has enough to satisfy just about anyone.Dolphins played in water every morning we were there which was nice.I would recommend hotel to anyone wanting to visit non touristy beach..Lots of rooms with kitchens.
