Only spent one night here but could have stayed forever. We were treated like royalty and the room was perfect. The facility was well run, everything was spotless, and the amenities were luxurious. Each room is individually decorated and very pleasing to be in. The breakfast even impressed my breakfast-expert husband. The cinnamon rolls alone sold me but the eggs,... More

If you are plannng a trip to Lake Lure and want to relax in a beautiful, relaxing setting this is the place. We stayed for 6 nights in the African Queens room which is one of the largest and the only one with a small kitchenette (fridge and microwave). There is not enough room here to describe how gorgeous and... More

We stayed at the lodge late April, and were blown away by the spectacular setting overlooking the beautiful Lake Lure. Our room was so comfortable and so tastefully furnished, our deck had a panoramic view of the lake. The friendly caring management and staff made us feel at home and were always at hand to spoil us. A must is... More

Our first stay was last year and this year when we planned a long motorcycle trip we decided we had to go back even if it was out of our way. I have to say it was a good decision. We stayed in the African Queens room again because it gave us plenty of room to spread all our motorcycle... More

I spent a week at the Lodge on Lake Lure for a company retreat and I must say the service and staff were tremendous. By the end of the week, the staff knew everyone's names and there were about 35 of us! The chefs did a wonderful job preparing delicious, creative meals for all of us every day.The lodge itself... My husband and I stayed the weekend for our anniversary in the Secret Garden. Could not have been more perfect. Breakfast was delicious, room was cozy and romantic, staff was friendly. The views are just breathtaking. Can't wait to come back!

We came from the Biltmore and the drive is breathtaking (in more ways then one). Enjoyed the views from the deck. Built a fire in the main room's massive fireplace and felt right at home. Even bought a glass of wine to enjoy while kicking back. The bathroom was very nice as well as the room. Our breakfast was good... More

My husband and I stayed at The Lodge on Lake Lure for a couple of nights. The staff was very friendly and our room was really nice. It was very peaceful which is what we were looking for when we went there. Breakfast in the morning was OK. The first morning, the eggs and french toast were cold. I'm sure... More

Beautiful and comfortable rooms, great views, wonderful food and an inkeeper and staff who made us feel at home. What a great find! My first cousin and I stayed at the lodge for a "girls weekend" and we're already making plans to bring our husbands and rest of the family back to the lodge! With great views of the lake... More

We stayed in the Blazing Saddles room. Nice but small. The gas fireplace kept us warm but don't expect it to add a romantic ambiance. The flame was pitiful. We had a good view from the private deck but the view from the bathroom far surpassed that. Actually, the bathroom was the best part ot the whole room except we... More
