This is a lovely little home that is filled with history. It provides a wonderful mini-vaction! It was quiet and provided time for us to walk the grounds and enjoy the outdoors! The food was fresh and delicious.

Did not read the information on visitnc.com fully and booked a room but this place is not IN Chapel Hill, though it advertises as such. really, it's more than 10 miles west of Chapel Hill on corner of Hwy 54 and Mebane Oaks Road.

Reminded me of why I prefer to stay at B&B country inns as it's been a while since I have stayed at one. So much nicer than a hotel. We came back as promised 2 years later to visit a friend who lives nearby. The bathroom in the Milkhouse has since been renovated, which was a pleasant surprise.
