We have stayed here a few times. The location is a short drive to Beaufort or to Atlantic Beach. This last visit was not as clean as previous visits but still tolerable if you are just looking for a cheap place to shower off the sand after a day at the beach.

Stayed on a rainy weekend in September. Room was ok, had a room in building with inside hallway. They had a good breakfast. Would stay there again. Bath tub needs to be redone. But room looked like it had been updated.

Like odors, filth and bugs. go to the Buccaneer now that they are NOT ENDORSED by Best Western. they were the best hotel in Morehead then. Go to Atlantic Beach or Emerald Isle for good clean Carolinian hotels.
