Another fantastic trip to Tapoco with our Nashville Cycling Group. Everything from the accomodations to the food to the hospitality were the best. Great location with many wonderful roads. Ronnie, Karen and Becky are the best!! You need to stay here the next time you come to the beautiful mountains of Western NC.

The best lodge in the smokies. We stayed in the cabins for three nights. Each night we were treated to the best food- five course dinners and excellent service. What a friendly place. We are coming back next year.

My wife and I just had our 20th Anniversary party at the lodge and it was the best time we could ever have. The staff was wonderful and the food was great. Thank you Terry and Ronnie for all you did,and also chef Alex and crew for the pizza and wings and the cake. We love you all and also... More

Just spent a wonderful weekend at Tapoco Lodge! The Lodge is a lovingly restored property with a rich history in the NC mountains near Joyce Kilmer National Forest and "Tail of the Dragon" (US129). The Lodge has several large rooms in the main building and numerous cabins tucked in the trees on the remainder of the property. Our room, in... More

My wife and I had a glorious stay at Tapoco Lodge. This is a wonderfully restored property in an area of the world that has priceless beauty and serenity. The staff and owners are more than accomidating in a very friendly and professional way. The cabin we stayed in was rustic, elegant and very comfortable. We were constantly torn between... More

My wife and I just returned home from another wonderful stay at the Historic Tapoco Lodge. This beautifully restored inn captivates its visitors with wonderful history, perfectly restored rooms and gormet meals. But what sets Tapoco apart from other fine inns is the wonderful staff that shows their genuine interest in their guests in everything they do. Ronnie and Terry... More

I had a great experience. I rented a cabin, which was very clean and the view was fantastic from the front porch rocking chair. Our car club used this hotel as the host venue and I could not be more pleased. The staff and owners were more than friendly and no need went unfulfilled. The food was wonderful. The location... I had the opportunity to spend a night at the beautiful Tapoco Lodge and had a wonderful experience. Ronnie and Terry have done an amazing job turning the lodge into a lovely retreat. They have thought of everything. Each room, whether its in the lodge or a cabin, has been carefully thought out and is comforting in its own way.... More

Enchanting lodge, beautifully restored,in a gorgeous setting of rivers and mountains. The eclectic inside decor is a true museum. Our room was huge ,beautiful and quiet.but above all the graciousness ,warm welcoming" you are part of family" kind of atmosphere delivered on every occasion by the innkeepers and each and every member of the staff left us with one of the... What a wonderful find. From the moment we drove into Tapoco Lodge, our experience was excellent in every way. First of all, it's located in an idyllic setting right on the Cheoah River. The setting is breathtaking. When we checked in, we met Becky, who gave us a warm welcome. We felt like she had been waiting just for us.... More
