“Bump In the room”

“Pleasant stay”

Stayed overnight on a journey south - warm welcome, great rate, very clean, quiet, and right off I95 so very handy. Good little gym - and of course the warm cookie! Doubletree really is a great middle of the road chain.

“Great Value”

Stopped here on my way to the Outer Banks from the Raleigh Durham airport. It is right off the highway so location is great. Rooms are comfortable and the price was reasonable. And then there is the tasty chocolate chip cookie when you arrive!

We came into this hotel unexpectedly. We were met by an incredibly wonderful woman at the front desk, Thelma Wilson. She helped us then as well as being sympathetic to our situation. We booked a room utilizing HHonors points/cash combination on a recent family holiday. It was the perfect stop over, breaking up what would have been a 12 hour drive into two manageable trips. “Great weekend of Baseball”

I stayed at the DoubleTree for a weekend during the Triple Crown Baseball tournament. I had a great stay, the rooms were clean and the staff was knowledgable about the weekends events. I had a great experience at the Texas Steak House which was located on the ground level.

“Gold and Diamond HHonors - Avoid the breakfast scam!”

The hotel abides by the HHonors policy to offer free (continantal or not) breakfast to Gold and Diamond members. That is not the case - the hotel hands guests a voucher worth $10 - and redeemable at a poorly serviced "restaurant" ("Texas-something"). “Excellent facilities”

We came to Rocky Mount for a wedding and were very pleased with the facilities. We really enjoyed not having Texas Steak House right down stairs. Breakfast was awesome and of course dinner was great too. We'll be back!

“Great Stay”
