My husband and I visited Lloret de Mar and booked Hotel Metropol based on it's location and because it said it was a '4 star' hotel. Definetly NOT! We´ve been there several times. A nice and clean hotel with a friendly staff, especially in the restaurant and the housekeeping. Whenever you go there, pay some extra (6E pp) and book a room with a balcony. The view is very nice. You look over the boulevard and the sea.
