We stayed here for 3 nights on a recent trip to the Barossa. We found this to be a lovely, comfortable cottage, only a short walk from the town centre (and the excellent Blond Cafe). It was really the little extras that made our visit amazing - Sue had left huge amounts of food for breakfast, wine, chocolates and little... More

We stayed here on a recent trip to the Barossa for 4 nights. I was very impressed with the welcome package we recieved on arrival. This is a wonderful cottage for a couple of friends or family group. Kitchen is well appointed, BBQ out the back and it is close to all the wineries. Angaston is a great town with... More

Acorn cottage has 3 bedrooms and a lovely sized lounge and kitchen. We made... More

Having stayed at many similar types of accommodation both in Australia and overseas we rate Acorn Cottage among the best. Nothing beats a cold winters holidfay better than a glass of wine in front of a warm fire in a wonderfully appointed cottage. Everything we required was provided including plenty of food and a lovely bottle of Red. Great cottage... More

I echo the previous reviews - Sue has a beautiful, spacious cottage and has provisioned it with wonderful things - we especially enjoyed the wholemeal bread, as well as all the other goodies. Location is excellent, just off the main street, in a lovely town. Our on;y regret is that we would like to have some friends with us next... More

Acorn Cottage truly was a wonderful place to stay. Not only was it beautiful it was extremely well appointed and every detail really did seem to have been taken care of - the fire was set, fabulous breakfast provisons, books, cd's, dvd's, games all available, complimentary port, chocolates and homemade biscuits and a very comprehensive information folder. The kitchen was... More
