Stoneweel Cottages are a hidden gem in the Barossa Valley. Conceived as secluded separate cottages by the lake are totally independent and assure you the highest comfort but also privacy without sharing any space with other guests. it's like having your private country home. If you are looking for a peaceful, high quality and serene place to stay in the Barossa then look no further! Stonewell Cottages is incredible. I spent two nights in a Haven Spa retreat with my partner to celebrate his birthday and it was so relaxing. The property itself has a gorgeous outlook, surrounded by vineyards and the lake. The... We stayed for only one night (we would love to stay for longer!) and we found the place to be an absolute beauty! ideal for a couples break away from everyday life. Location is 10 out of 10 with the local ducks and birds being a plus. The cottage was spotless and contained all you can need for your break.... More

We stayed in Hideaway Cottage which was beautifully set up and equipped with everything we needed. The breakfast provisions were most generous and we appreciated the additional extras of wine and port. The situation of the cottage between the vines and the lake was ideal for relaxation....and for watching the ducks! It was also easily located for sightseeing in the... More

My partner and I stayed at cupids cottage for one night. Beautiful surroundings, ducks were the added cute bonus coming to visit us in the morning! The coffee machine is awesome and the bed was divine! The spa bath was nice and so was the selection of DVDs to snuggle up and watch on the couch. Breakfast was generous, so... More

What a hidden gem Stonewell Cottages are. We stayed in the Haven Spa Retreat 2, and while it adjoins Retreat 1, we still felt very secluded. The attention to detail is second-to-none, with everything you can think of to make your stay easy. The complimentary extras were very good, as were the extremely generous breakfast provisions. I don't think I've... More

We stayed in Cupid's Cottage which stands alone, surrounded by gardens, vines and looking out on to an artificial lake. The lake is home to many ducks and other visiting birds who spent a good portion of the day "chatting" to each other. With little provocation, they will also visit the cottage for a feed (bread provided). The gardens around... More

A beautiful and tranquil getaway right in the heart of the Barossa Valley. Not as difficult to find as we envisaged and heled by text directions from the owner. Great cottage with everything we wanted. Double spa bath great for romantics with candles, chocolates & port to enjoy. We had one of the platters for the evening to save going... More

Nice location and comfortable. Spotlessly clean, very generous and delicious breakfast hamper. Good to be able to go for a walk around the vineyard, watch the roos and walk off some of the calories from indulging all day in the beautiful Barossa. It is not perfectly peaceful, as there is some traffic noise, which affects the Spa Haven Retreats outside... More
