This hotel was undergoing renovation work in April 2013 and the wifi did not do well with Linux. This is the only negative I can say. The place was quite nice. The room was clean and neat. The complimentary breakfast was good.

Rooms were clean, staff was great. Breakfast was good. They are renovating, so i'm sure the stay will be even better once finished- pretty dusty for now! Right off main hwy, easy to find. Will stay again.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. This hotel is undergoing construction to upgrade the facility from Comfort Inn standards to Hampton Inn's standards. Upgrades done to this point were very nice. The construction didn't affect our stay, except that one flight of steps was not available to be used the night we stayed there.

The breakfast was great! (waffles, fruit, bacon, seasoned potatoes.) The staff was very courteous. The only thing that bothered me during the stay was that a street lined constantly shined in the room which kept me awake. The curtains were made so that they could not close.

OK, you probably won't choose to vacation here, but if you have to stay in Shelby, the rooms are quite adequate and clean. Sandra at the front desk is particularly pleasant!
