Our room was quite small, but clean and recently redecorated with taste. Dinner was excellent and all the staff very helpful and charming. It was lovely waking up to the beautiful view over the lake.

In a delightful location on the banks of the Lac d'Aiguebelette so calm that gives no hint of its close proximity to junction 12 of the A43 motorway, this is one of those small, family-run French hotels whose best feature is its restaurant. The food is excellent but the cross-referencing menus are virtually incomprehensible; far better (and easier) to eat...
