We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in one of the chalets. We rented the entire unit as we had 6 family members in our party. Our parents took the small unit at the rear of the chalet, while our children slept in the loft and we occupied the double bed on the main floor. These chalets are cozy and cute...very retro... More

Located 10km from nakusp up in the mountains the cedar chalets can be found right next to the hot springs ($15 for a pass). Their are four chalets, each split into three units. We were initially put into 3a, one of the cheaper chalets located at the rear. It was pretty dark and the window catch was broken so it... More

I love the chalets in Nakusp...rustic..quiet..bring your own selection of food and use the kitchenettes to cook breakfast..lunch and dinner. Every year we do potluck... Wake up in the quiet of the mountains..have breakfast..go for a hike..a little lunch..go float in the tubs...have a nap..have dinner..go float..go to bed. Most relaxing weekend you could ever have.

The chalets are in a great location right next to the Hot Springs and up the road from the campground. The manager was very accommodating and gave us a choice of which unit we would prefer as they had vacancies. We were able to view a few of the units before making a decision. We were also told of trails we... More

We stayed here for a night while traveling around BC and it was wonderful. Nice cabins, very clean and comfortable, and the proximity to the hot springs can't be beat. Very inexpensive too and a nice place to get away from it all. We very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

We stayed as recommended in the larger unit and found it very clean and comfortable. The hot springs are beautiful - there were only a few people in when we arrived on a very sunny June day. We loved lying in the water watching the mountains and my husband was fascinated with trying to catch the humming birds on camera.The... More

Very affordable stay at the hot springs. The back rooms or “A” units are very cozy and clean. Great place to stay if there are just 2 people to spend a weekend. My only complaint is that the walls and floors are not very sound proof. We could clearly hear other conversations through the walls or through the floors. FYI,... More

A-frame cabins; well-equipped kitchen (has wine glasses and pretty much anything you need to cook a meal); very quiet; friendly helpful staff (thank you Jeff's mom!); BBQ. As close to the hot springs as you can get without being in the hotsprings., 12 KM from town. Common green space in front of Chalet area - picnic tables, grass, campfire area... More

I always read these but haven't been adding my opinions after being somewhere. Wanted to get out of North Idaho for a road trip. Found the Chalets on line and got a reservation. We stayed in the smaller A room. Yes "cozy", but everything we needed for a quick trip. Spent more time in the hot springs. VERY clean and... More

This was our 3rd trip to the Hot Springs and Cedar Chalets. The chalets are very simple but very clean and comfortable. You do have to bring your own food and I'd suggest you bring some of your own towels as well. Also, the units don't have showers and the tub is by the slope in the ceiling so you... More
