We ended up here after missing a turn off and travelling a bit farther than we intended that night. We arrived at the KOA about 1/2 an hour after the posted office closing time. The owner came out and was very accomodating as he had a staff member open up the office, and book us into a tent site. We... More

Although this KOA had all the amenities we have come to expect of a KOA (clean washrooms, pool, store, etc.) as we were tenting this time, it was not the best stay. This KOA is right on the trans-Canada highway and for some strange reason, when they built it, they decided to put the tent spots closest to the highway.... More

This place has to be at the top of ripoff list. It is very expensive for what is provided. Extra guests dropping in for a meal were forced to pay $ 7 per person per day even though none of the facilities were used. The location next to the highway was most annoying. Their attitude was unbelievable "if you don't... More

Thought Sicamous would be a good place to spend the night on our way from Vancouver to Banff, but it was not. It might be a good place to stay for families travelling in RVs (they're building a new pool, they have a pool table, pinball etc.) but I wouldn't recommend it for tenters since the sites are small, not... We had stayed at this koa before, and really enjoyed it, however, now it's a Major rip off. I was charged $50 to bring my teenaged son in addition to almost $100/night for a cabin, $25 additional to Bring my dog, $$ for firewood, and the ONLY thing the owners are interested In is your money. I was NOT told... More

My husband, toddler, and myself booked a 1 BR cabin over the phone with this resort for 1 night. We had a sudden emergency and could not come. They refused to give us any money back and charged us the full $84 for this incident. If you look, there is NO explanation of their "cancellation policy" online - nor did... More

We stayed here in July, pouring rain when we came. We were going to tent for 3 nights and since it was raining we decided to stay in a camping cabin. For $100/night, we got a dirty, bug infested, flat mattress, pee smelling, no linen cabin. We could have set up our tent in the rain, but we took the... More

Your hosts are only interested in one thing if you decide to spend your vacation time here, and that is making the most money off you they can. We were charged for every ridiculous thing and overcharged for what we got. Even our visitiors were charged. The managers that run this scam are the most unfriendly people I have ever... More

Stayed at the KOA outside of Sicamous. Not bad for services but expensive at 65 bucks a nite.... We were absolutely stunned however to find out that some friend who were visiting us had to pay $7 each to stop by for the evening. We were quite vocal in denouncing this to staff and were told it was "not about... More

We brought 6 families to the KOA outside of Sicamous and had a great time. It was a very family-friendly park, quiet, lots of trees for a bit of privacy. Kids loved the pool, staff was friendly. They picked up garbage each morning for the campsites, and cleaned each site when a guest would leave. Less than 10 minutes from... More
