Driving later in the evening ,we were attracted to this Inn as it was all lit up and very welcoming. we were able to book in for dinner and the meal was lovely. The sunset over the Highland was spectacular. Our ocean view room was spotless. Breakfast was included and the housed baked breads and buffet was very good. Friendly... More

I was expecting a wonderful Inn. Sadly, I was disappointed. My husband and I did not feel welcome there. The room was clean but basic for the money. The view was ok, not great and we had a water view, I did not like the fact I looked out the window and see a trailer.

There's not many places to stay in Ingonish, but I would skip this place if possible. The owner uses very low quality products in the rooms. The toilet paper is so thin you can almost see through it and the shampoo is awful. Dinners are very bland. The only things going for the place are the nice staff and the... More

My adult children woke up just as we were driving into the hotel - they were surpised at how nice it looked from the outside. First, I would probably have rated the hotel as a "4" but the view alone is worth a "5". The room itself was fine - a queen bed and a sofa bed. Not a lot... More

The hotel was decent and had a nice room. Nothing too fancy but we just came to sleep. It was clean, comfortable, and well priced. The best thing about this place is the ocean view from the outdoor breakfast patio. Absolutely breathtaking! The server was also very attentive, filling our coffees right away and bringing anything we needed.

Beautiful location with outstanding view of Ingonish. Great back deck. Room was disappointing, downstairs in basement. Felt like typical, basement bedroom in someone's home. For the price, we have stayed in much nicer B&B's in Nova Scotia. Lobby/breakfast room busy and noisy.

We spent three nights here recently and were very pleased. The rooms were smallish, but very clean and charming. The bed was very comfortable. We had a corner non ocean view room, which had a view of the hills out one window. The non corner rooms might feel a bit less inviting. The view is really spectacular. We had breakfast... More

We had stayed one night at Glenghorm, in a motel type room, which was fine. Having travelled elsewhere, we decided to return to Ingonish to take advantage of the sunshine, only to find that all of the motel type rooms at Glenghorm were booked. We called Castlerock enroute and booked a room over the phone. The room was much nicer... More

We stayed at this facility on Saturday, July 30, 2011. We were assigned room #17 which is the lower level of the inn. The room is small and has access to room #18 through an adjoining door. There is NO privacy with the adjoining room being occupied. There is alot of noise from floor above as it is the main... More
