Great hosts.... we arrived early and were greeted warmly. The house is beautiful and decorated tastefully. I liked that all the rooms were open so we could peek in and see how each was decorated. We had a wonderful stay and the breakfast was fantastic. Wish we could have stayed longer.

One night here September 24 en route from Halifax to PEI. Nice little town to break your journey in and a wonderful B&B. Lovingly restored century home with every comfort. Stayed in the Mcgilvery room which was perfect for three adults and an infant. Welcoming owners and a delicious breakfast. Couldn't have asked for more.

A relative purchased a package from Gillespie Inn (lodging for 1 night, passes to the Fundy Gelological Museum, dinner at Bare Bones and tickets to the Ship's Company Theatre) for us after staying at this Inn last year. As others have stated this a charming, uncluttered, comfortable B&B. It is in a quiet location, but can easily walk into Parrsboro. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I loved the french toast and pancakes AND the homemade muffins are to die for. Lots of comfortable common rooms for reading, talking or watching TV. We actually had space in our room to lay out our belongings. Unlike nearly every other B&B, this one was tastefully furnished and without the usual cutesy clutter. Very nice art on the walls throughout the house, as well. Wonderful landscaping, too.

Beautiful, welcoming and comfortable inn. Room was tastefully furnished and bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was excellent. Breakfast was delicious and generous. Hosts were most gracious. Wonderful place to stay.

Charming old home. Clean, and tastefully decorated. Friendly and helpful owners and staff. Breakfast was yummy, and room was v. good quality. This b&b is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The bathroom had a nice claw foot tub, there were wood floors, fireplace, four poster bed and tasty breakfast.
