Close to downtown. Could have been cleaner. Staff was very good.
We spent the weekend there to visit family and we were upgraded for free to their two room suite! Charming and wonderful room. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We cannot wait to stay there again next we come back to Port Colborne.
This is the third time that hubby and I have stayed at the King George. This time we had friends with us. We had the "Banker's Vault" room which has the bathroom in the vault. Our friends had the "Country Sampler". Nice place -- would definitely go back.
The King George Inn is located right in the heart of downtown Port Colborne. It's has really quaint rooms which were converted from a former jail and 1 of the rooms even has a bathroom which still uses a vault door. Each room is unique, all have queen beds and the off-season rate is around $80. You can walk everywhere...
