The campground was nicely kept, Washrooms were clean. Staff was very friendly. Very close to Avonlea, we actually rode our bikes there. The petting zoo was a hit with our children. The pool was clean.

We left Missouri September 11, and by the time we reached Atlantic Canada, many of the campgrounds were closing for the season, despite the fact that the tourist centers continued to promote Fall in the Atlantic Provinces. We visited the area in 2002 and didn't experience this problem because the economy was still good then and we stayed in hotels.... More

The Cavendish KOA is the perfect family campground on Prince Edward Island. It is very much a family oriented campground.
