If you are expecting the advertised 4 star quality, this hotel would be a great disappointment. From my experience it is about a 2 star. It is a convenient walk into the centre. It has a pool & air conditioned rooms so that's a plus. There are only 2 lounge chairs by the pool so grab them early! More

Chiapa de Corzo is a charming small town and La Ceiba is 100 m from the main square in a quiet residential district.. The hotel has a pleasant garden and a small pool. We found the hotel by chance, although choice is quite limited in Chiapa de Corzo. This is an excellent choice if your visiting the canyon and the city (walking distance to the embarcadero). The staff was very nice and accomodating. More
