we travelled by bus w/another couple from zihua and knew to expect a temp. difference. but what a lovely hotel, staff and town. want to go back next year for a week. we were used to exorbitant resort prices and marginal food, but what a difference. food, wait staff and prices were wonderful. don't miss patzcuaro and Hotel Pueblo Magico. Well located, close to downtown Patzcuaro, but not inside downtown (walking distance). Very nice rooms, and excellent service. Very fair prices. Good food in nice restaurant. Very clean. I fully recommend More

We spent the week in Patzcuaro and would venture out to it's nearby surroundings in the AM. This hotel was a great place to come back to in the early PM to get some rest before walking to the Plaza Grande for a relaxing night. The rooms were always very clean and the hotel staff was always very helpful in... More

My wife and kids (10 and 6 years old) had a marvelous time staying at Pueblo Magico. Just 5 blocks to main square we had great breakfast and true hospitality from hostest. Hotel is brand new and very well decorated, rooms offer true Patzcuaro style. I can recommend 100% the hotel and stay there any time. More

Very clean and confortable, room was small but it was fine for us. Love the bed the conforter was very soft and it was like sleeping in my own bed. Very colonial with all the corridors full of flowers and plants that make the place even more special. Having a place where to park our car was a plus for... More

The staff were fantastic - friendly yet professional. We had two rooms, a double and a single. They were clean with a few nice touches such as towel arrangements. My bathroom was small but all the fixtures worked. I need coffee in the morning; the staff kept my cup full for as long as I wanted. It is a 3... More

A really nice, cozy, confortable little hotel in a very good location (4 blocks away form Patzcuaro's historic centre). Neo-colonial architecture (yet flawless and modern), sober decoration, very clean facilities, nice and helpful staff. Good price/quality relation. Has a very covenient parking (just door to door). Very quiet ambient, and.....amazing beds! Ideal for a romantic get-away in this lovely mexican... More

Pueblo Magico is unbearably cold. The night we checked-in, the receptionist was wearing his winter coat while seated behind the desk. This hotel is unheated, the only way to stay warm in your room is in bed, under the down comforter. The breakfast area is open to the outdoors so the poratble heater and fireplace in the dining are rendered... More
