Now i read a number of bad reviews before we arrived but I've got to say to those complaining get over yourselves, this is a lovely location to chill out, friendly and helpful staff in the office and friendly and helpful staff doing the housekeeping, putting out the breakfast, cleaning the pool, keeping the place tidy The cottages are of... I stayed here during memorial day's weekend with my husband in the Sand Dollar room. The place was definitely a big disappointment. Let me start with room: The bathroom is extremely small, impossible to fit two people in. The AC was extremely loud and making frequent "click" sound, which forced us to turn it off at night. The TV wasn't working... More

This is an idea spot to get away for awhile and chill out. Midway in the Keys it is not that far from Key West or Islamorada. They have put some thought into some little ideas. Each morning fresh oranges are provided with breakfast. Each units has a juicer to make fresh OJ each morning. There is a small private... More

Conch Key cottages are located about ten minutes outside of Marathon, a good choice for a stay Mid-Keys. Don't expect luxury "resort" accomodations, but a more simple, cabin or cottage feel. It's a good spot to use as a home base but not necessarily a place that you'd want to just hang around all day. The pool was pleasant, warm,... More

The setting for Conch Key Cottages is beautiful, its on its own little island with a small beach one side and a decked area at the other side and while we were there it was lovely and peaceful, however the cleaner needs to sacked, skirting boards didnt look like theyd been cleaned ever, the side of the fridge was dirty,... Definitely the quietest place (and that is good) we stayed this sojourn. We stayed in an older cottage (screened porch, living & bedroom w/ kitchen area) on the small and very shallow lagoon. Very easy access to diving at nearby Duck Key. We'd stay there again, as it is semi-close to some nice attractions, especially the Turtle Hospital.

....from reading previous reviews. Place is definitely hidden right off of US 1. Pictures online are deceiving. Most cottages are not waterfront, and are not individual units like portrayed. Most are simple rooms within a unit. The beachfront portrayed is more like a lagoon front, very small, and seemingly for those who paid for the "waterfront" units. Housekeeping could use... More

Great little "resort",with nice amenities. Not large, but that's what's nice about it.A pool, small beach, kayaks and a deck to sit on and relax by the sea!Never felt crowded.Units have kitchens and grills.Bought some local fish and grilled one night, very nice.Everything seems well-maintained.

We can't say enough good things about this B&B. The hotel keepers were very polite, kind & accomodated every request we addressed. Rooms are clean and nicely furnished. The 1 bdr/1bth cottages can accomodate up to 4 people though they are quite small. We stayed at the Cat's eye villa and the bedroom could hardly host our son's travel pack&play.... More

We were disappointed in our cottage. It was one of the smaller ones and was just too tight for a family of four. It was not on the beach as described, although it was just a short walk. Our cottage was also quite dirty when we checked in. The dishes in the cabinet had not been properly washed and in... More
