The manager was really helpful and nice. The room was dirty, there was no toilet roll, milk for a coffee or a spoon; however they were quick once I asked. The room was really cold and it took a long time to work out the heater, reception told me it takes about 20 mins to warm up! Suggest some instructions... More

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, clean warm room with wi-fi, tv and great decor. Plenty of hot water, towels were so white and soft. Comfy beds and delicious breakfast. EXCELLANT value. Loved the view from our window....out the front of the hotel....can see all going on. We have the choice to stay with relations but we love staying at the hotel.... More

Don't stay here it is not a hotel just a disgusting pub. Room ok but a twin instead of the double booked, cold and right at the top of the building up 2 flights of very dirty stairs yuck Breakfast served in a small room was not even worth mentioning. Average pub hotel for the price. Staff very helpful was not left waiting to long to book in. Rooms good only downfall was the bathroom rust on the shower and bath. The windows double glazed unit had covered over dirty rotting windows. Breakfast good but more detail to food hygiene and presentation in the breakfast area should be addressed.

Do not waste your money, better under a bridge. Dirty, disorganized, no one to assist for anything…..just terrible If you're planning to stay in winter, take your heating system with you because the heating will not be on! Towels don't always get changed.

Great hotel which embodies all a traveller (rep) is looking for. This is a coaching inn which has free car parking and reasonably priced beers in the bar. Free Cloud Wi - Fi...excellent. If you hate Travel Lodge, and want somewhere with character, right in the middle of this lovely little town...book it.
