We booked this NYE 2012 a family room for two couples, trying to keep costs down. I expected a room in the rafters with no space to swing a cat. It was one of the biggest hotel rooms we have stayed in absolutely gorgeous! We were going to Tatton Park for new years eve but was a little jealous wasn't... More

Have visited the windmill for business and indeed pleasure , always found there to be excellent service and very friendly staff. the atmosphere is very good although at times dependent on fellow customers can be a bit distracting if the noise level gets a bit high. all in all id recommend the Hotel and eatery to anyone .. keep up... Ideally placed just off junction 19 of the M6. Plain and simple, the haddock, chips and mushy peas is awesome, generally we visit once per month and the service is always good too. Well worth a mid week visit!

Lunched with my colleagues at the Windmill yesterday. Nearly left before eating when harangued by a member of staff for using an additional chair to place my laptop on. I could have almost understood it if the place wasn't completely empty! To be fair the food arrive very shortly after we had ordered it and it didn't take too much... More

We have just eaten at the Windmill and would like to say that it was a very enjoyable Sunday carvery - the meat was tender, the veg was plentiful, the potatoes were crispy, the Yorkshire was good and the gravy was yummy. We would recommend it for a lazy Sunday :)

We stayed at the Windmill as we were visiting family in Knutsford and it was one of the few hotels that could accomodate 2 adults and 3 children booking within a couple weeks of our visit. They had our room ready with travel cot setup. Unfortunately they were no sheet but we found a number of pillow cases that we... More

Very warm and friendly welcome, I had room 1 which was very spacious, well appointed and comfortable. The overall size was almost comparable with a small suite. The whole essence of the Hotel is to make your stay as comfortable as possible within a very reasonable budget. Very close to junction 19 of the M6 but the associated traffic noise... More

Thought this was one of the best hotels we've stayed at in this price range. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and stylish, and the beds were very comfy. There was a little bit of traffic noise but then it's close to the M6, but it wasn't enough to keep us awake. The breakfast in... More

Stayed here for one night en-route to another location. Lovely place, with excellent quality rooms, friendly helpful staff and superb food. Our room was large, the bed was king size (five foot) and incredibly comfortable. Full en-suite shower room with an excellent shower - one of the best! Soap, shampoo and bodywash provided were excellent quality. Kettle provided for tea/coffee... More

Great place to stay, we stopped here last minute after a very wet trip down the M6 from Scotland. Food and service very good, staff were polite and helpful. Bedrooms very clean and well appointed, fantastic size with lots of space for our nearly two year old to run around :-) Would absolutely stay again and highly recommend to others
