I ate with family at the restaurant at Peckforton Castle last weekend. And let's just say this is a restaurant with ideas seriously above its station. Stayed for my nieces wedding in May, spectacular! Husband surprised me for my birthday, last week,overnight in The Peckforton Suite as this beautiful castle was all I had talked about since the wedding. We ate here last night, the food in the 1851 restraunt was just amazing! The atmosphere was wonderful, quiet and candle lit, staff were excellent, friendly and engaging. The castle it's self is magnificent, I have lived close to it all of my life, but this was the first time I have been inside. It was well worth the wait! More
