Myself and two colleagues had had a long day of meetings and driving. We were heading back towards the M6 but decided to find a pub for dinner. We were fortunate enough to find the Alvanley Arms. We had a great welcome. A nice local. Great menu and excellent portions. Faultless. We'll visit again next time in the area. More

Rooms were good size with clean bathroom. Service was of a good standard. The only disappointment was the food in the restaurant which was dry, bland and overpriced pub food which appeared to be frozen rather than fresh. Would not eat there again More
