For the past 4 years we have called at the Golden Fleece Hotel, while returning from a ramblers coach trip. We have always found the service and food excellent value for money and would recommend the hotel highly.

Attended a function in one of the large suites available at the hotel. Sunday lunch on this occasion. Good service & very nice 3 course menu with several choices. Just returned from our fifth annual weekend stay. Yet again a totally excellent weekend in a comfortable, homely,welcoming hotel. The food is excellent with a varied choice & always so well presented by friendly, efficient staff. The recent refurbishment of the bar & dining room has only added to this first class hotel. See you again next year.

We have stayed in the golden fleece a few times now and find jo and all the staff very friendly and effiecent, we have always had first class food and I am shocked at a recent review about the quailty of the food,
