My wife and I had a business assignment in Bowen requiring 4 nights accommodation. We were very aware of the 24/7 news reporting of devastation for Queenslanders and took on the journey with some trepidation - about 2,500 k's including three flights and aroad journey of 2.5 hours. We had read reports of crocodiles seen crossing highways in flood waters... More

We stayed for 1 night in November and had a room with a queen bed and 2 singles. The location is amazing as the resort is at the end of a point so has a beach on opposite sides of the resort with fantastic views and lovely breeze. The room was very clean and included a kitchenette, with sink, microwave,... More

Stayed there many times. Always had good service and looking forward to another visit real soon. Not too pricey and clean and comfortable. Highly recommend it. It is a short distance from Bowen and does have an Indian restaurant attached now. There is a Thai restaurant up the hill 1 min walk which is very good and also a great... More

Just one night for a business trip. I stayed in a motel type room with a balcony. One flight of stairs up. Large room well laid out and comfortable, views of the water, 8 minutes to Bowen central. Would be a nice place for a longer stay I think.

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a reburbished Motel room (which I highly recommend). Our friends had booked a 2 bedroom unit which was very rundown and old. Our Motel room was equipped with a microwave, toaster, kettle and had a nice little balcony overlooking greys beach. Yes, it gets hot in the afternoon sun but I found... More

Horseshoe Bay is truly a beautiful part of Queensland, there are two beaches to choose from at this Resort so if it is windy at one beach you can go around to the other beach to the sheltered side of the Resort. The waters are warm and clear. They have older rooms that really need attention but are reasonably priced,... More

We only stayed for one night here but the view from our room was absolutely lovely. We had a room overlooking Greys Bay and while this sheltered our balcony from the sea breezes it also made it very hot in the afternoon with the sun belting in. The only way to get the breeze is to open the main door.... More
