Tidy, clean park, friendly staff. Great bar (not overpriced). Amenities clean but basic. Campsite is not 'on the beach' but located just behind some trees which means no view but provides protection from the wind. If you stay here, the wood fired pizzas are a must

Really nice site, friendly staff and amazing pizzas which were reasonably priced. What wasn't reasonably priced was the powered site at $38, way overpriced! I'm guessing you're paying for being so close to the beach but we stayed at Wonga Beach Caravan Park for $24 a night for a powered site, which was beach front! My advice, visit Cape Tribulation... Imagine checking into your B&B, asking where to get dinner and being told, "the campground has pizza." Our expectations were pretty low - campground pizza? OK, we wouldn't go to bed hungry. Well, this was no "campground pizza." The campground is a charming, intimate space and the little lodge houses the bar & restaurant. We ordered our pizza and walked... More

I hesitate to share this wonderful gem of a place in case it becomes too crowded! Have visited several times over the years, great hot showers, clean well equipped camp kitchen & shady camping spots. Grounds kept spotless, staff are friendly and the proximity to the beach is second to none. The bar has very reasonable prices and the wood... More

We stayed here for one night this march in a campervan. Absolutely loved it. A bit more pricey than other QLD campsites but totally totally worth it. Stunning location, grassed, shady, flat sections right next to the beach. Really nice facilities with a camp kitchen that had a BBQ, gas burners, fridge and sink. Helpful staff and an onside bar... To say we enjoyed our stay here would be a massive understatement our jaws are sore from smiling constantly for the 2 days we were here. We have stayed previously but due to dodgy weather we never got to fully experience the magnificence that Cape Trib is capable of providing. We had perfect weather this time , the sea and... More

We were so lucky to have blue sky, a campingground almost to ourselves and the owners are very welcomig! A very tropical well maintained camping, very nice beaches, swimming in a waterhole nearby, plenty of walking possibilities. Defenitly a place to go to!

My friend and I spent one night in a powered site, the property was clean, neat and really well maintained. The staff at reception were very helpful and friendly taking the time to explain places to visit in the area. The bar/pizza area was a big plus as the local area did not appear to have too much in the... More

Four of us stopped here for lunch on our way up the Bloomfield Track on the recommendation of our B&B hosts in Port Douglas. Who'd have thought you could get such great and interesting pizza in such an out of the way place. We had toyed with the idea of loading up a picnic lunch prior to departing Port Douglas... More
