The room was awful. They shut the cold water off at 8am, so you can't shower unless you want to boil your skin off. I had a "do not disturb" sign on the door, and was woken by the dirty asian cleaners trying to take the chain off the door. Do NOT go there!!!

Check that the A/C works - ours didn't and the owner appeared a little disinterested when I mentioned it the next day. He said he would attend to it but it has probably been broken for some time. The receptionist checked this when we arrived and said it was working but we didn't discover it lacked any cooling until later... More

Found the Motel to be very clean, comfortable and customer focussed. Meals excellent, full buffet breakfast available for early traveler. No fee for room service, all rooms currently being renovated. If I pay $200. per night or $110. the service should be the same 707 treats you like part of the family. Enjoyed my 2 night stay and would come... More

Stayed in the bottom rooms that we think were affected by the floods. The rooms were very old, the bathrooms prehistoric. The staff were friendly, and the rooms you look at near reception look good, however the rooms "out the back" are a different matter. Due to the lack of accomodation in town, there is not much choice if you... More

The rooms were clean and comfortable with air conditioning and austar. The motel also serves wonderful meals too, and in the morning we were treated to a free buffet breakfast which was nice. Other than that I would recomend... More

Well,I stayed there for one night only but it was not too bad....The service at reception was casual which was good to me....my room was ok but there was remote control for the air-conditioning system.Other than that I recommend this motel to friends who do not book their accommodation in advance.

Emerald has become the boom town due to the mining industry, and prices have inflated accordingly. If one does not book ahead in a town like this, the choices are limited. Plus: One of the cheapest motels in Emerald It does have Austar The reception was friendly Negative: Its rough. Rooms are aged and worn, very 70's style Bedding needed... More
